256 Colors Required

Description:

Kid Pix Studio® Deluxe requires that the Colors (Windows® 98) or Color Palette (Windows® 95) setting be set to 256 Colors. (This is a minimum requirement of the program.) Following a step-by-step procedure will allow you to change the setting or to verify that 256 Colors is chosen as one of the Display Settings.

Solution:

1. Click Start, choose Settings and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click the Display icon.

3. In the Display Properties window, select the Settings tab.

4. Near the bottom-left portion of the window, under Colors (Windows® 98/ME) or Color Palette (Windows® 95), click the drop-down menu and choose 256 Colors.

5. Click Apply near the bottom-right portion of the window.

6. Choose Yes if asked, "Do you want to restart the computer?"
